First time opening it on a Mac
- Open the downloaded file to unzip it, and drag Office Suite into Applications.
- The first time, Control-click (or right-click) the app, choose Open, then Open again. The app is signed by its developer but has not been through Apple's notarisation, so macOS asks once.
- Check the file is the one published here by comparing its SHA-256 (shown above) with the result of
shasum -a 256 <file>in Terminal.
Windows and Linux versions are not available yet.

Do I need an account?
No. You can open the web app and start working at once; your work is kept on your device. Create an account to save to the cloud, share files and edit together.
Does it open Microsoft Office files?
It reads and writes .docx and .xlsx, and converts between many formats. Complex formatting can differ from Microsoft Office, so check important files before relying on them.
Where are my files kept?
On your device until you sign in and save to the cloud. Cloud files are stored on this service's server and removed when you delete them or your account.
Which computers can run the desktop app?
Macs with Apple silicon, today. Everything is also available in the browser on any computer.
